T&I New Teacher 80 hr
Induction Program

 

As of July 1, 2007 all new teacher in Career and Technical Education must complete an 80 hour induction program or take a College Methods course. 

Each program area has developed its 80 hr program to meet the needs of that area's teachers. Trade and Industrial Education has joined with East Carolina University to offer 20 hours of CEU course work Online and another 10 hour course through CareerSafe. In addition to the 30 hours of course work, the last 50 hours can be earned through attending various workshops throughout the year.
